We wish to complement our existing team with an experienced Contract Administrator to support in delivering a diverse range of multidisciplinary projects across South East Queensland. This is an exciting opportunity for you to advance your career, you’ll benefit from ongoing professional development, including on-the-job skill-building and coaching, ensuring you grow your expertise within our dynamic organisation. In this role you'll be responsible for:

Understanding all commercial aspects of the construction and utilities contracts and identifying key areas of contract and financial risk
Project forecasting, financial modelling, cost control management and performance reporting
Procurement of subcontractors and negotiation of commercial terms in accordance with Company subcontracting protocols
Management of subcontractor sub-contracts (including payment, variations, claims and EOT)
Preparation of monthly Head Contract progress claims
Liaising closely with the Project Manager, Commercial Manager and the wider project team to ensure commercial and financial risks are mitigated.

To be successful in this role you will have:

Formal Qualifications in Contract Management or Quantity Surveying is desirable
Demonstrated experience in end-to-end procurement and contract formation in the construction and/or utilities sectors
Sound commercial and financial acumen related to the construction/utilities sectors
Experience in contractual notifications, claim preparation and negotiation
Have excellent IT skills and advanced skills in Excel and Word
Experience with JDE will be an advantage, but is not essential
