Your role

Provide Level 1 production application support, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and service availability.
Monitor application performance, batch processes, system health, and alerts to proactively identify potential issues.
Investigate and resolve incidents by analyzing SQL queries, application logs, and system data.
Conduct data validation, reconciliation, and root cause analysis to ensure data integrity and issue resolution.
Develop, maintain, and enhance Python-based automation and reporting scripts.
Perform routine operational support tasks, including job monitoring, incident triage, and issue handling.
Log, track, and manage incident tickets through to successful resolution in accordance with support processes.
Escalate complex technical issues to Level 2/Level 3 support teams with detailed analysis and supporting evidence.
Assist with application deployments, smoke testing, and post-release validation activities.
Prepare and distribute daily operational reports, service metrics, and support dashboards.
Collaborate with globally distributed teams across multiple time zones to ensure continuous business and application support coverage.
Exposure to Angular or React.js technologies would be advantageous.

Your profile

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
1 to 5 years of experience in Application Support, Production Support, or IT Operations.
Strong understanding of application support processes, incident management, and service delivery.
Hands-on experience with SQL for querying, troubleshooting, and data validation.
Knowledge of application monitoring tools, batch job monitoring, and system health checks.
The ideal candidate should possess strong SQL skills, basic-to-intermediate Python scripting capabilities, and experience troubleshooting production issues.
