The Opportunity
As a full time full stack
Senior Web Developer, based in our Brisbane CBD head office with a hybrid working pattern, you’ll focus on the build, speed, stability and usability of Shine Justice group’s websites. You’ll work closely with other digital experts, liaising cross-functionally within our marketing team with our IT and projects teams, providing sound input, leadership and decision guidance in order to drive first class solution architecture of our websites.
You’ll enjoy the best of both worlds, working within our supportive, friendly, and high performing Marketing team, and with another Senior Web Developer, whilst having the opportunity to truly hyperfocus on our website with lots of autonomy. You’ll be self-driven, and a big picture thinker, passionate about making an impact and delivering meaningful changes in an enterprise environment. This is an exciting time to join our team, as we expand into new projects, and strive to deliver best practice across our entire digital marketing offering.
Here’s how you’ll help us stay ahead of the pack:
- Collaborate with our Digital Experience & Content Lead to translate business needs into technical requirements that result in client focused solutions.
- Oversee the implementation of website changes and enhancements a variety of environments, but mainly built-in React, leveraging the Contentful CMS.
- Manage unit and system testing, in conjunction with the rest of the digital marketing team, to ensure only stable code is deployed in our production environments.
- Ensure integrity of analytics data and its capture through platforms such as Google Tag Manager, and Google Analytics/GA4
- Build and manage strong relationships with multiple internal and external stakeholders across the business, advising them with your technical knowledge and working closely together to create innovative and successful solutions and initiatives.
- Manage and maintain Shine Justice website infrastructure and deployment process.
What you’ll bring. To thrive in this role, you’ll have:
- Significant, proven experience in a Senior Web Developer role
- Demonstrated front-end and back-end development experience, working with React and PHP, in an enterprise environment
- Experience with a headless CMS (preferably Contentful)
- Experience with Serverless Functions (Cloudflare Workers and Azure Function Apps preferred)
- Experience integrating third party APIs and plugins.
- Proven experience in effective estimation, planning, and resource allocation.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, and end to end unit and integration testing.
- Excellent stakeholder management and problem-solving skills.
- The following are desirable, but not essential for success: exposure to Workato or similar Integration PaaS system, GA4 and Big Query knowledge, MySQL (Azure SQL Server) and NoSQL (CosmosDB), experience integrating and working with Salesforce, experience using CSS pre-processors such as SASS/SCSS or LESS, and an understanding of SEO development concepts and their practical application.
- A love for all things front end and a passion to deliver best in class CSS designs
- Relevant tertiary or equivalent qualifications are desirable, but not essential.
