As the Alliance Cost Manager in Perth, for the High Capacity Signalling Project, this is a senior level opportunity to lead the design and development of cost management strategies for a complex rail project for WA.

Main tasks :

- Establish and manage Work Package (WP) governance across the Alliance, including monthly WP performance reviews.
- Partner with WP Owners to challenge costs, identify savings opportunities, and drive commercial outcomes.
- Develop and monitor key project controls metrics, including Total Outturn Cost (TOC), Estimate at Completion (EAC), and Earned Value performance.
- Deliver accurate cost forecasting, reporting, and financial insights to support informed decision-making.
- Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and project delivery teams to optimise project performance.
- Drive continuous improvement through innovative cost control practices, digital tools, and best-practice project controls.
- Promote knowledge sharing and capability development across Alliance partners and internal stakeholders.

You’ll work with sharp, committed teams across Altom — solving complex challenges that shape the future of mobility.

What You Bring

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Finance, Business, or related field.
- +8 years’ experience in financial reporting and cost management within major infrastructure projects.
- Expertise in cost estimation, financial modeling, and project controls software.
- Strong understanding of alliance contracting, risk management, and value engineering.
- Proven leadership, stakeholder engagement, and strategic decision-making skills.
