Supervisor / Project Manager

Construction Business is a growing North Brisbane-based building company specialising in structural repairs, Large renovations, and specility repairs works. We are looking for an experienced Repair Supervisor / Project Manager to join our team and help deliver a diverse range of challenging and rewarding projects.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, thinking outside the box, and managing projects from start to finish that can be complex. We are looking for a supervisor who has project management skills, understands structural repairs, can lead trades, communicate with clients, and take ownership of projects and run them.
About the Role
You will be responsible for managing multiple projects across Brisbane, ensuring work is completed safely, on time, within budget, and to a high standard.
Projects include:
- Structural repairs
- Renovations and refurbishments
- Decks and retaining walls
- Footings and concrete works
- Waterproofing rectification works
- Body corporate repairs
- Investigation and remediation of building defects
- Complex repair projects that many builders choose not to undertake
Key Responsibilities
- Manage projects from initial site inspection through to completion
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and internal trades
- Prepare scopes of work and identify repair solutions
- Liaise with clients, engineers and body corporates
- Schedule work and manage project timelines
- Monitor quality, safety and compliance on site
- Conduct site inspections and resolve issues as they arise
- Assist with estimating, variations, and project reporting
- Ensure projects are delivered profitably and professionally
About You
- Minimum 5-10 years' experience in carpentry or Building in residential construction, repairs or renovations
- Strong understanding of building methods and structural repairs
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Able to read plans, engineering drawings, and specifications
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Confident using computers, emails, tablets, and job management software
- Able to think independently and develop practical solutions
- Professional presentation and client-focused attitude
- Reliable, motivated, and committed to quality workmanship
Preferred Qualifications
- Qualified Carpenter or relevant building industry trade
- QBCC Supervisor Licence or Builder's Licence
- Project management experience is essential
- Current Driver's Licence
- Construction White Card
