Retail Installer / Tech Merchandiser – Geelong VIC

Location: Geelong & Surrounding Areas, VIC
Work Type: Casual / Contractor – Ongoing Work
Company: Precision Retail Solutions Pty Ltd

Precision Retail Solutions is expanding our Victorian installation and merchandising network and is looking for a reliable, hands-on Retail Installer / Tech Merchandiser based in or around Geelong.

We have work available immediately, with ongoing opportunities servicing leading technology, consumer electronics and retail brands throughout the region.

The Work

Services vary between projects and may include:

Retail display and fixture installations
Installation of foamcore panels, signage and promotional graphics
Installation and replacement of large-format fabric faces in existing lightboxes
Supplying and installing appropriate hooks and basic fixings where required
In-store technology and product demo updates
Firmware/software updates to demonstration products
Setting up and updating interactive retail displays
Display maintenance, repairs and troubleshooting
Replacing graphics, signage and display components
Merchandising and product presentation
Basic assembly and installation of retail fixtures and displays
Completing photographic and online reporting following each service

Projects are regularly completed within major consumer electronics and retail stores throughout Geelong and surrounding areas.

Who We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who is:

Practical and confident using basic hand and power tools
Comfortable working with technology and electronic products
Capable of completing signage, lightbox and general retail installations
Able to follow detailed installation briefs and instructions
Confident completing basic technical and demo updates
Reliable and comfortable working independently
Professional when communicating with store teams and clients
Detail-focused with a high standard of workmanship
Able to take clear completion photographs and complete online reporting
Equipped with their own basic tools
Has reliable transport and can travel throughout Geelong and surrounding areas when required

Previous experience in retail installations, shopfitting, signage, visual merchandising, technology, AV, electronics, field services, handyman work or merchandising would be highly regarded.

Ongoing Opportunity

This is not just a one-off job. We're looking to establish a relationship with a reliable local installer/merchandiser who can become part of our Victorian field network and assist with regular projects as they become available.

The work is varied — one service may involve installing or updating retail graphics and displays, while another could involve completing a technology demo update, troubleshooting an existing display or carrying out general display maintenance.
