Northern Star Resources is seeking an experienced Health and Safety Advisor to join our Thunderbox Operations on a permanent and full‑time 8 days on 6 days off roster. This role suits a proactive, hands‑on safety professional with mining and FIFO experience, offering long‑term stability and a rewarding career opportunity.

Here is what awaits you.

Partnering with site-based WHS teams and operational leaders to drive safety outcomes
Supporting and continuously improving the Safety Management System (SMS)
Conducting audits, inspections and risk assessments
Assisting with serious incident investigations and monitoring corrective actions
Ensuring statutory reporting is completed within required timeframes
Coordinating corporate drug and alcohol testing programs
Supporting inductions for corporate and site-based employees
Promoting a strong safety culture and continuous improvement mindset
Ensuring environmental compliance and responsible site practices

To thrive in this role you will need.

Experience: Demonstrated experience in a similar role within mining or mineral processing operations, with strong knowledge of risk management processes (ICAM experience preferred) and desirable occupational hygiene qualifications in air quality and noise monitoring.

Qualifications: Tertiary qualification in Workplace Health & Safety (or related discipline), accompanied by Lead Auditor qualification (desirable) and a current WA C Class Drivers’ Licence.
