We’re partnering with one of Australia’s most respected financial institutions and require the services of 4x Senior Software Engineers to be part of a major project initiative, on a 12 month, daily-rate contract basis!

Headquartered in the heart of Sydney’s CBD, this is your chance to contribute to a large-scale, enterprise-grade environment while enjoying the flexibility of hybrid work and the support of a world-class engineering culture. With cybersecurity front of mind in the online banking space, you will join the Access & Entitlements team where you will focus on the delivery of a real-time, low-latency omni-channel platform used to manage permissions and entitlement for millions of users. You will work on Java /Spring Boot based microservices, looking to improve quality and performance of this high-load system. You will also work on improving practices within the team to enhance overall developer experience.

What You’ll Need:

Broad depth of knowledge in building Java based applications for the cloud
Hands-on experience with Spring Boot based microservices
Experience with REST APIs and understanding of GraphQL APIs
Experience with messaging middleware (PubSub/Solace/SQS/SNS)
Experience with SQL and NoSQL DBs
Experience in automated unit and integration testing
Good understanding of design patterns and clean code practices
Good understanding of how to build resilient microservices systems with high standards on code maintainability
Ability to write code and lead design decisions by engaging and reusing highly performant, critical code components.
