Insurance Manager (Captive Insurance Management)

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Captives team at Marsh. This role will be based in Perth. This is a hybrid role requiring at least three days per week in the office.

This is a full time position

We count on you to:

Serve as the insurance manager for the account team on large or complex accounts, implement action plans, monitor progress, assure service meets or exceeds expectations and protect the firm from Errors & Omissions.
Draft essential comprehensive insurance documents intended for clients.
Conduct research on various markets or industries as designated to find resources on new growth areas and trends for expansion for internal use to identify growth opportunities.
Conduct and refine data analyses to support proposal creation and account-facing presentations.
Address escalated issues and concerns in a timely and effective manner, help manage expectations, mitigate relationship risks and apply judgement as to when to escalate major issues to senior level colleagues ensuring compliance.
Offer technical and transactional support for complex or high-priority relationships when needed to ensure relationship satisfaction and facilitate a mutual internal and external understanding.
Develop strong relationships with professional counterparts at client organizations.
Attend and participate in industry events and conferences to build up a strong professional network, maintain proximity to the relevant market and represent the Company.
Develop and maintain relationships with clients and brokers.
Help prepare for client directors meetings and participate as necessary
Address client requests promptly by coordinating responses in conjunction with other team members

What you need to have:

Certificate in Financial Services (Level 5)
At least 3 years’ experience in an Insurance role
A bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field is desired
Familiarity with captive management software and data analysis tools is desired
Strong organisational skills
Attention to detail
Effective communication skills
Excellent stakeholder management
