About the role

As Project Officer within the Early Childhood Outcomes (ECO) division, you will support the development and delivery of policy initiatives and reforms that contribute to improved outcomes for children and families across NSW. You will bring a proactive and adaptable approach, quickly interpret complex information and provide clear, practical advice while managing competing priorities and tight deadlines. Working collaboratively with stakeholders, you will undertake research and analysis, prepare high-quality briefs and advice, and support projects that deliver organisational priorities and government commitments. You will also be required to provide subject matter expertise and technical resolutions of various software packages.

About you –

- Ability to prioritise work and meet competing deadlines
- Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department’s Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department’s Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.
Essential requirements of the role
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline and/or demonstrated equivalent experience.
- A valid Working with Children Check for paid employment.
- Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the value of public education.
