About the role
We are looking for an enthusiastic Pharmacy Technician who would like to join the pharmacy team at Maroondah Hospital. A casual position is available based at Maroondah Hospital and may include rotations to other Eastern Health Pharmacy sites when appropriately trained. Additional shifts may become available if interested. Training and orientation will be provided.

About you
Desirable skills include:
Experience in hospital or community pharmacy (desirable but not essential)
A strong commitment to high quality care
The ability to work as part of a diverse team
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Certificate III or IV in Hospital/Health Services Pharmacy Support (desirable but not essential)
Healthcare workers are strongly recommended to follow COVID vaccination recommendations provided in the Australian Immunisation handbook (based on ATAGI advice). Seasonal vaccination against influenza is a mandatory requirement of this role and an offer is conditional on this being up to date prior to employment.
Those that are offered and/or start between January and April do not require an up to date vaccination for Influenza to progress providing they are aware of its requirement later in the year. Those that are offered and/or start between May and December require the up to date Influenza vaccination prior to offer.
