Ramsay Clinic Wentworthville is a 70 bed private hospital and a premier provider of mental health care. Wentworthville Clinic offers excellent evidence-based clinical care, provided by a dedicated team of health professionals, including psychiatrists, psychologists and specialist nurse therapists.

Job Description

Ramsay Clinic - Wentworthville is seeking an experienced Medical Receptionist to join our team on a casual basis.

As our Medical Receptionist, you are responsible for providing administrative support and assistance to patients and their families upon their arrival to the clinic.

About You

Your Skills and Experience:

To succeed in this role, you will be an enthusiastic individual with a passion for customer service and enjoys being part of a busy environment.
The ability to converse and be empathetic while managing a busy flow of multiple doctor’s appointment dairy, phone calls, emails etc.
You will have strong communication, multi-tasking and interpersonal skills and should be comfortable working in a team of doctors, nurses, psychologist, administrators, clinical and non-clinical staffs.
Computer literacy including the Microsoft Office suite of Programs
Strong attention to detail and understanding of a specialist practice setting, Medical Terminology are highly desired, though not essential.
Coordinate with staff from other departments.
Complete other clerical tasks such as data entry, billing, banking, and stationary order

Desirable:

Demonstrated minimum 2-year experience in a hospital/medical administrative position
Demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology
Experience ideally Zedmed, is highly desired, though not essential.

Additional Information
