This role exists to enhance the volunteer experience, improve service consistency, and ensure VICSES members, regions and internal business partners have timely, accurate and coordinated information in relation to fleet assets, deliveries, inductions and support services. It plays a critical coordination function between technical teams, Business Partners, regions and volunteers to ensure service expectations are clear, information is reliable, and service delivery activities are well organised and responsive to operational needs.

ROLE SUMMARY:
The Senior Service Delivery Lead (Fleet, Equipment & Clothing) is responsible for: Overseeing the operational execution of VICSES' end-to-end service delivery and volunteer-facing functions across fleet, equipment and clothing. Ensuring reporting Coordinators, Officers and casual staff are equipped, supported and focused on completing assigned tasks in line with SES strategic values. Encouraging, monitoring and installation of a ‘continual improvement' mindset across the Service Delivery portfolio. This includes ongoing business process reviews, and where opportunities exist, reengineering workflows to drive collaborative efficiency.
Working closely with portfolio leads and regional stakeholders, the Senior Service Delivery Lead ensures service delivery activities align with asset delivery schedules, operational priorities and organisational commitments. The role drives improvements to processes, systems and communication practices that support consistent service delivery and strengthen engagement with VICSES members and operational staff.
The role also supports the integrity and effective use of systems, processes and documentation that underpin service delivery activities. This includes ensuring information management, reporting and governance practices remain accurate, current and consistently applied to support operational decision-making, compliance and organisational assurance.
The position requires strong leadership capability, stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to manage competing priorities within a dynamic service delivery environment.

We support them to understand their risk and the relevance of taking action before, during and after emergency events.
As the largest road rescue network in Australia we have specialist teams that provide a 24/7 response to road accident and trauma incidents. We assist Victoria Police in search and rescue operations, and play an important role in supporting the Country Fire Authority (CFA), Fire Rescue Victoria (FRV), Parks Victoria and the Department of Energy, Environment and Climate Action (DEECA) during major bushfire and emergency incidents.
