Full Job Description

Say and Play Speech Pathology Services' is seeking a talented Speech Pathologist to join our dedicated team on a contract basis. Being a contract role, you will choose whether full time or part time hours suit you, as well as your days and hours of work. As a Speech Pathologist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality speech therapy services to our clients in the Merrylands, NSW area (and surrounding suburbs). This is an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, where you can make a meaningful impact on the lives of the individuals and families we serve.

What you'll be doing

Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify clients' communication needs
Develop and implement individualised, evidence-based, treatment plans to help clients achieve their communication goals
Provide one-on-one therapy sessions, adapting your approach to meet the unique needs of each client
Collaborate with other professionals, such as educators and occupational therapists, to ensure a holistic approach to client care
Maintain detailed client records and documentation, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines

What we're looking for

A certified degree in Speech Pathology
Registered with Speech Pathology Australia, CPSP status
Working with children check
Police check
Demonstrated experience providing speech and language therapy services to a diverse range of clients
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and work effectively with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals
Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to tailor your approach to meet the unique needs of each client
Commitment to staying current with the latest research and best practices in speech-language pathology
Will consider final year university students (speech pathology degree only)
