About The Role
We are seeking Electrical Supervisors to support our current, future projects and upcoming shutdowns across Australia’s largest mine sites. In this casual FIFO role, you’ll access consistent work across 90+ client sites, competitive rates and genuine long-term career opportunities within a well-established national contractor. Day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Being a champion for best practice in HSE and leading by example
- Mentoring of junior leaders and employees in technical and quality requirements
- Ensuring appropriate allocation of resources to achieve planned outcomes
- Carrying out prestart risk assessments (Take 5, JHAs) and review and authorise (sign off) JHAs
- Ensuring timesheets for services are completed and signed off by the client
- Overseeing performance of external contractors and suppliers
- Compilation of work packs for project works
- Conducting regular audits on electrical activities and electrical installation works
- Ensuring all electrical statutory notices and certifications are completed, submitted, and recorded in accordance with legislation
- Monitoring, recording, analysing and reporting on performance indicators
- Utilise, build, and maintain a professional network to increase bid opportunities
What You’ll Need
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:
- WA Electrical Licence
- Experience in a supervisory position
- Schedule 26 Statutory Supervisor training (with aim to complete S26)
- Strong technical knowledge of fixed plant mining and other industrial construction projects
- Experience completing CMS (Contract Management System) documentation for on-site personnel and equipment
- Experience in a multidisciplinary (Civil, SMP and E&I) project or shutdown environment
- The ability to manage and execute end to end deliverables on multiple projects
- A current Australian Driver's Licence
