Job Description

We're looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Sales Assistant to join our dynamic team in Coconut Grove, Australia. In this role, you'll be the backbone of our sales operations, providing essential support to our sales team while delivering exceptional customer service. You'll work collaboratively with colleagues to process orders, manage customer inquiries, and ensure every interaction reflects our commitment to excellence. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about supporting sales success through organized, efficient work.

Process customer orders, inquiries, and complaints with accuracy and professionalism, ensuring all information is properly documented and tracked
Provide comprehensive product and service information to customers, demonstrating sound knowledge of our offerings and industry procedures
Support the sales team by preparing quotes, proposals, and sales materials that help drive business growth
Manage customer communications through multiple channels, responding promptly and professionally to all inquiries
Maintain and organize customer records and sales data using CRM software and other administrative systems
Analyze customer feedback and sales trends to identify opportunities for improvement and share insights with the team
Coordinate with internal departments to fulfill customer requests and resolve issues in a timely manner
Assist with administrative tasks including scheduling, filing, and data entry to keep operations running smoothly
Contribute to a collaborative and inclusive team environment by supporting colleagues and sharing best practices
Monitor inventory levels and communicate stock information to relevant departments as needed

Qualifications

Proven experience in a sales support, customer service, or administrative role with demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with customers and colleagues
Proficiency with CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other standard business applications
Excellent organizational and time management skills with meticulous attention to detail
Sound understanding of sales procedures, order processing systems, and customer service best practices
Ability to analyze information, solve problems independently, and make decisions in a customer-focused manner
Flexible and adaptable approach to work, with resilience in handling challenging situations and changing priorities
Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset, with a genuine commitment to supporting team goals
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and quality standards
High level of integrity and transparency in all business dealings
Preferred: Experience in automotive or related product sales environments
