About the role:
Reporting to the APAC Director of Product Marketing, this role is responsible for driving product marketing strategy and delivering tactical support across the Asia Pacific region. Acting as a key link between regional product managers, country subsidiaries, and Arthrex Inc. (US) product management teams, you will serve as a central hub for market intelligence, strategic alignment, and product initiatives.
The primary focus of this role is to drive the continued growth of our market-leading Knee & Hip Arthroplasty portfolios, and Robotics platform across APAC growth markets, ensuring strong market adoption and delivering commercial success throughout the region.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead the product marketing strategy and execution for a designated portfolio across the APAC region.
- Drive the continued growth of our Knee & Hip Arthroplasty portfolios and Robotics platform across Asia Pacific markets.
- Partner with Arthrex Inc. (US), regional product managers, and country teams to align product initiatives and commercial objectives.
- Gather and communicate Voice of Customer (VOC) insights to support product development, innovation, and market adoption.
- Identify new market opportunities and develop strategies to expand portfolio growth across the region.
- Develop and execute go-to-market plans, including product positioning, messaging, training, promotional activities, and launch campaigns.
- Manage the full product lifecycle, from launch planning and market introduction through to ongoing portfolio optimisation.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product Management, Regulatory Affairs, Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, Medical Education, and Marketing Communications teams.
- Deliver product, sales, and clinical training to support commercial success and customer engagement.
- Adapt global marketing strategies and materials to meet the needs of diverse APAC markets.
- Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and data-driven assessments to identify growth opportunities and market trends.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and industry stakeholders across the region.
- Support pricing, forecasting, inventory planning, and product approval activities in partnership with regional teams.
- Represent Arthrex at international meetings, congresses, and industry events, providing insights on market developments and competitive activity.
- Provide regular portfolio performance updates, market intelligence, and strategic recommendations to APAC leadership.
- Travel across the APAC region (up to 40%) to support launches, training, customer engagement, and business growth initiatives.
About the Requirements:
- 5 years’ minimum experience within Medical Device product management/ sales/marketing/clinical positions.
- Bachelor’s degree required with Advanced education (MBA/MS/MA) preferred
- Prior experience with Knee & Hip Arthroplasty product portfolios highly desired
- Exposure with both upstream/downstream marketing of Medical Devices
- A global mindset coupled with multi-cultural appreciation
- Excellent English communication skill. Any Asian language proficiency would be highly considered, especially Japanese or Mandarin
- Skilled in negotiation and collaborating to achieve desired business results
- Effective project management and presentation skills
- Adaptable: flexible, open to new ideas and approaches.
