AUSTRALIA NETWORK SERVICES PTY LTD is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to work within our client’s ICT and business systems operations in Sydney.

This is a full-time position, where you will work as part of a supportive and multidisciplinary team.

Position: Business Analyst – Full-Time
Salary: A$90,000 – A$98,000 per annum plus superannuation
Work Location: In person

What We Are Looking For

Applicants should demonstrate the following qualifications, skills, and experience:

Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in business analysis, ICT systems support, or business systems operations
Relevant qualification in Information Systems, Business Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Technology, or an equivalent field
Strong knowledge of business processes, system workflows, and operational requirements
Experience in gathering, assessing, and documenting business and system requirements
Experience using Microsoft 365, Active Directory, ServiceNow, Google Workspace, or similar business platforms
Ability to prepare process documentation, user manuals, operational reports, and system support materials
Strong stakeholder communication skills and the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical users
Good analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills
Strong attention to detail with a focus on data accuracy and continuous system improvement
Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment

Key Responsibilities

Review and analyse existing business processes, ICT workflows, and operational systems to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement.
Engage with internal users, clients, and key stakeholders to understand business requirements and convert them into clear functional and system specifications.
Prepare business requirements documentation, workflow diagrams, process notes, user guides, and system-related documentation.
Collaborate with developers, IT support teams, and business users to ensure system requirements are accurately communicated and effectively implemented.
Assist with system testing, user acceptance testing, issue management, and implementation of business system enhancements.
Review and improve user access processes, account management procedures, shared drive structures, permission controls, and business application workflows.
Prepare operational reports and maintain accurate system records while supporting data integrity across business platforms.
Support employee onboarding and offboarding processes, staff training, and system usage guidance for business users.
Monitor system performance, user enquiries, and service requests to help maintain reliable day-to-day business operations.
Maintain effective communication with stakeholders and provide practical solutions aimed at improving business efficiency and system usability.
