Monadelphous is seeking a motivated Junior Project Engineer for a major SMP construction project for a leading resources client. As part of our Engineering Construction division, we are seeking a motivated individual to join the project team and build their career delivering large-scale mining infrastructure. Working alongside experienced Project Engineers and Supervision, you will gain exposure across planning, procurement, workpack development, construction delivery and project controls while supporting the safe and successful execution of SMP works.

Key Responsibilities:
-
Assist with the development of SMP work packs, material take-offs and construction documentation
-
Support planning, scheduling and execution of project activities to meet program requirements
-
Coordinate procurement activities, equipment and material deliveries as directed
-
Prepare technical documentation including RFIs, TQs, ITPs, progress reports and quality records
-
Liaise with supervisors, subcontractors and client representatives to support project delivery
-
Monitor progress, identify issues and assist with implementing practical solutions
-
Promote and maintain safe work practices in accordance with Monadelphous and client requirements

Ensure work is completed in accordance with quality systems, project specifications and relevant Australian Standards
What you’ll bring:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Civil or related Engineering discipline

1–3 years' engineering experience within construction, mining or heavy industry

Understanding of engineering drawings, construction documentation and QA/QC processes
-
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities

Effective written and verbal communication skills

Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications

Current Australian working rights
-
Willingness to work FIFO on a 2:1 roster
