Summary:

Join our dedicated team as a Disability Support Worker, providing essential support and assistance to individuals with disabilities. This role involves helping clients achieve their personal goals and enhancing their quality of life. Ideal for compassionate individuals looking to make a positive impact in the community.

Responsibilities:

Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks.
Support clients in achieving their personal goals and enhancing their independence.
Provide emotional support and companionship to clients, fostering a positive and encouraging environment.
Maintain accurate records of client progress and report any changes in behaviour or health to the appropriate professionals.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in disability support.

Qualifications:

Relevant qualification in Disability Support, Community Services, or a related field.
Experience in a similar role, preferably within the social care sector.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients.
Empathy and a genuine desire to help individuals with disabilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Current First Aid and CPR certification is preferred.
