About the role

The City of Sydney is seeking highly motivated Crew Members to join our dedicated Parks Operations team responsible for the care and maintenance of over 400 parks, gardens, sporting fields, parks infrastructure and 97 hectares of open spaces.

You’ll assist with the effective maintenance of the parks and open spaces using minor plant and equipment, and hand tools to produce quality green spaces.

We’re looking for candidates with:

ability to carry out labouring work
ability to access and operate various tech devices including but not limited to iPad’s for the purposes of reviewing work schedules and logging tasks
current Class C Driver’s Licence and be willing to obtain an MR class licence in the first 6 months of employment
ability to drive fleet vehicles.

This role has the option of a team based flexible working arrangement, known as a 9-day fortnight.

The recommended applicant must complete a pre-employment health declaration and medical assessment.
