As our Public Relations Coordinator, you'll help tell the LSKD story in a way that gets people talking. From building genuine relationships with media, our community and key partners to shaping how the world sees our brand, you'll play a big part in growing our reputation and bringing our 1% Better mission to life. This is a part time role for 15-25 hours weekly.
Description:
How you'll make an impact...
- Build and nurture relationships with media, journalists, creators and key partners to generate meaningful coverage and grow brand awareness.
- Pitch stories, coordinate interviews, manage product gifting and execute PR campaigns that keep LSKD part of the conversation.
- Create engaging PR content including press releases, blog articles and brand storytelling that brings our 1% Better mission to life.
- Protect and strengthen the LSKD brand by monitoring media coverage, managing reputation and supporting crisis communications when required.
- Partner with leaders across Marketing, Retail, eCommerce, Community and Collaborations to deliver integrated campaigns that align with business priorities.
- Measure the impact of PR activity through media coverage, brand sentiment, website traffic, affiliate performance and campaign reporting.
- Research, write and submit industry award nominations that showcase LSKD's growth, innovation and achievements.
- Support executive communications by coordinating media opportunities, podcasts, speaking engagements and personal brand initiatives for our CEO.
- Work alongside the Collaborations team to identify celebrity gifting opportunities that align with our brand and campaigns.
- Coordinate retail centre marketing opportunities including local media, activations, social content, EDMs, visual merchandising and paid campaigns.
- Lead billboard campaigns from planning and location selection through to execution and performance reporting.
- Partner with the eCommerce team to develop SEO-focused blog content that drives organic growth.
- Jump in where needed and help bring the LSKD story to life across every touchpoint.
You'll be a great fit if you bring...
- 2–4 years’ experience in PR or communications, ideally at coordinator level within an in-house brand team or agency.
- Tertiary qualification in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism or Marketing.
- Established relationships with Australian media (or a demonstrated ability to build them quickly).
- Strong writing and editing skills across press releases, briefing documents, key messages and pitches.
- Hands-on experience with media monitoring tools such as Meltwater, Streem, Cision or Roxhill.
- Event and activation experience (desirable) — supporting store openings, launches and community events.
- Comfortable working cross-functionally with Marketing, Social and eComm to deliver integrated campaigns.
- Apparel, retail, lifestyle or sport industry experience (nice-to-have).
