KU Children's Services is seeking a Diploma Qualified Educator to join our experienced teams, providing break cover across KU Knoxfield Kindergarten and KU Riddle Road Kindergarten . About the role
This permanent part-time role provides break cover across two nearby sessional kindergartens.
12 hours per week
Monday
- 12:30pm – 2:30pm | KU Knoxfield
Tuesday
- 10:30am – 12:15pm | KU Riddle Road
- 12:45pm – 2:30pm | KU Knoxfield
Wednesday
- 12:30pm – 2:30pm | KU Knoxfield
Thursday
- 10:30am – 12:15pm | KU Riddle Road
- 12:45pm – 2:30pm | KU Knoxfield
Travel between services is approximately five minutes by car, with kilometre reimbursement paid.
Graduate Diploma holders are welcome to apply. Please note that responsibilities and remuneration will align with a Diploma-qualified Educator position.
The Services
KU Knoxfield Kindergarten
A welcoming 56-place sessional kindergarten delivering high-quality programs for three and four-year-old children. The service features two spacious outdoor learning environments, natural play spaces and undercover outdoor areas, with convenient street parking and bus stops right outside the kindergarten.
KU Riddle Road Kindergarten
A community-focused 33-place sessional kindergarten with a large outdoor play space, climbing equipment and a generous undercover veranda. Staff enjoy onsite parking, easy public transport access and a collaborative team committed to creating inclusive environments where children belong, play, discover and learn.
About you
You'll bring:
- An ACECQA-approved Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care
- Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis qualifications
- Completed ‘Mandatory reporting and other obligations’ training
- Completed National Child Safety Training via Geccko (Foundation)
- A current Working with Children Check
- Knowledge of the Education and Care Services National Law, National Regulations and the Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework (VEYLDF)
