We are seeking a Program Worker, Connecting Home to join our team on a Part-Time Fixed Term basis in Lismore to help make a positive social change, together.
The Connecting Home youth team works closely with other stakeholders to ensure wrap-around support and understands the importance of strengthened family, social and cultural connection.

What you'll be doing
- Work collaboratively with Young People to resolve their housing issues.
- Provide intake, assessment and brief intervention supports to Young People as they access the Connecting Home service.
- Be part of a multidisciplinary team providing holistic support to Young People
- Develop your skills and knowledge in undertaking assessments and implementing brief evidence-based interventions
What we're looking for
- Tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience in health, psychology, social work, social science or social welfare, health promotion or similar
- Experience providing high quality customer-centred individual case management with young people.
- Excellent written and oral communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills, with the ability to communicate sensitively and effectively with all people to ensure effective relationships
- Demonstrated well-developed organisational, time management and administrative skills with the ability to plan, prioritise and meet deadlines
- Demonstrated experience in maintaining professional boundaries while engaging in person-centred work
