GR Production Services (GRPS) is seeking an experienced Project Manager ready to take ownership of a significant minerals processing project in Queensland.
This is an exciting opportunity to lead the critical transition from project delivery to full operational performance, driving operational readiness, commissioning and start-up activities that set projects up for long-term success.
Working alongside experienced industry professionals, you'll play a key leadership role in shaping operational outcomes, managing complex project interfaces, and ensuring a safe, seamless handover into operations.
About the Role
As Project Manager you will be responsible for Operations Readiness, Commissioning & Start-Up of a Minerals Processing Plant (Tin). You will lead all readiness and transition activities, ensuring people, systems, processes and governance frameworks are established and fully operational before handover.
This role offers the opportunity to influence project success from the ground up, working closely with stakeholders across operations, maintenance, engineering and project delivery.
Key Responsibilities

Lead operations readiness, mobilisation, commissioning and project start-up activities

Drive project delivery across scope, schedule, budget, risk and reporting requirements

Develop and execute commissioning and operational readiness plans

Coordinate cross-functional teams to achieve project milestones and operational outcomes

Implement and validate operational systems including CMMS, PTW and HSE reporting platforms

Oversee asset data migration, maintenance strategies and operational documentation

Ensure compliance with client requirements, contractual obligations and GRPS standards

Build strong stakeholder relationships and provide clear leadership reporting

Champion HSEQ excellence and foster a strong safety culture throughout project execution
About You
You are a proactive and commercially astute project professional with a passion for delivering successful project transitions and operational outcomes.
You bring:

10+ years' experience in operations readiness, mobilisation, commissioning or operational transition projects within mining, minerals processing or resource industries

Proven ability to manage complex projects across risk, governance, scheduling and stakeholder engagement

Experience delivering O&M mobilisation and readiness programs

Strong knowledge of Australian WHS legislation and industry best practice

Experience implementing operational systems such as CMMS, PTW and HSE reporting platforms

Outstanding communication, leadership and relationship-building skills

The ability to inspire and lead multidisciplinary teams in dynamic project environments
Qualifications

Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Operations Management, Project Management or a related discipline

Project Management and/or Asset Management qualifications highly regarded

WHS qualifications or demonstrated WHS legislative knowledge advantageous
