The National Disability Insurance Agency (the Agency) is seeking registrations from eligible ongoing APS employees external to the Agency, for ongoing (at level) and non-ongoing (temporary) transfer opportunities that may arise, across a broad range of classifications and divisions.

The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) provides funding to eligible Australians to build greater independence and pursue their individual goals. The NDIS also connects anyone with disability to services in their community including support offered by each state and territory government.
The NDIS now supports over 717,000 Australians with disability to access the services and supports they need. This includes supporting approximately 100,000 children with developmental delay, ensuring they receive supports early so that they achieve the best outcomes throughout their lives.

Eligibility
You must be an ongoing APS employee to apply. If you are offered a temporary section 26 transfer, your home agency is required to agree to your release. All new employees to the Agency must undergo pre-employment checks, including a police record check.
Your application will remain active with the Agency for 12 months. At this time, all applicants will be invited to renew their interest in section 26 opportunities at the Agency.
