About the role
An opportunity exists for a Casual Customer Service Team Member to join the Business Service Centre, providing essential support during night shifts (11:00 pm – 7:00 am) across our Maroondah and Box Hill Hospital sites. This is a dynamic, service-oriented position ideal for someone with experience in reception or administration, preferably within a healthcare setting.
As the first point of contact at the main reception desks, the Business Service Centre delivers 24/7 face-to-face, telephone, email support to internal and external stakeholders, and supporting emergency code processes. The team plays a critical role in maintaining a warm and welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff while also overseeing key administrative systems and providing help desk support.
You’ll be part of a friendly, supportive team delivering exceptional customer service, responding to service requests and system faults, and performing a range of administrative duties.
About you

A reliable work ethic and high level of professionalism
An interest in healthcare — previous experience in a health environment is desirable but not essential
Healthcare workers are strongly recommended to follow COVID vaccination recommendations provided in the Australian Immunisation handbook (based on ATAGI advice). Seasonal vaccination against influenza is a mandatory requirement of this role and an offer is conditional on this being up to date prior to employment.
