Retail Manager – Subway Stirling

Location: Shop 10/51 Cedric Street, Stirling WA 6021
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary: AUD $79,499 – $80,000 per annum

About the Role

Subway Stirling is seeking an experienced and motivated Retail Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our busy restaurant. We are committed to delivering fresh, high-quality food and exceptional customer service in a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.

This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and hands-on leader with strong management skills and a passion for customer service, team development, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the daily operations of the restaurant to ensure efficient and profitable performance.
Lead, supervise, motivate, and support team members to deliver outstanding customer service.
Recruit, train, roster, and monitor staff performance while fostering a positive team culture.
Ensure all food preparation and service standards comply with Subway operational procedures and company policies.
Monitor stock levels, coordinate ordering, receive deliveries, and oversee inventory control to minimise waste.
Ensure products are prepared, displayed, and presented in accordance with Subway brand standards.
Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to improve revenue, productivity, and profitability.
Prepare operational reports, manage budgets, and control labour and operating costs.
Ensure compliance with food safety standards, workplace health and safety legislation, and relevant regulatory requirements.
Maintain a clean, organised, and safe restaurant environment for customers and staff.
Handle customer enquiries, feedback, and complaints promptly and professionally.

About You

Diploma or higher qualification in Retail Management, Business, Management, Hospitality, or a related field (preferred), or equivalent industry experience.
At least one year of relevant experience as a Retail Manager, Restaurant Manager, or in a similar supervisory or management role within the retail or hospitality industry.
Strong leadership, coaching, and team management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Demonstrated experience managing stock, staffing, budgets, and daily business operations.
Strong organisational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Customer-focused with a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced food service environment.
Valid right to work in Australia.
