About the Role
Help shape the future of how Defence Bank works.
At Defence Bank, we're committed to making banking better for our members and our people. As we continue to deliver strategic transformation initiatives across the organisation, we're seeking an experienced Process Engineer to join our Strategic Programs team within the Program Management Office (PMO).
Reporting to the Head of PMO, you'll play a critical role in designing, analysing and improving business processes that support enterprise-wide change. You'll work across the organisation to simplify complexity, improve efficiency and ensure our ways of working are scalable, effective and fit for the future.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you'll:
Analyse end-to-end business processes to identify inefficiencies, duplication, risks and opportunities for improvement.
Design future-state processes that are simplified, scalable and aligned to strategic objectives.
Facilitate workshops and collaborate with stakeholders across operations, product, technology, risk and other business functions.
Develop high-quality process maps, documentation and process artefacts that support sustainable change.
Drive standardisation and consistency across strategic initiatives and programs.
Support the successful implementation and embedding of new ways of working into business-as-usual operations.
Contribute to governance activities and ensure process design aligns with organisational frameworks and controls.
Skills and Experiences:
About You
We're looking for someone who brings:
Experience in process engineering, business process improvement, continuous improvement or operational excellence roles.
Strong process analysis, process mapping and process redesign capability.
Experience supporting transformation, change or strategic programs.
Excellent facilitation and stakeholder engagement skills.
The ability to navigate complexity and translate ideas into practical, workable solutions.
A structured, analytical mindset with strong attention to detail.
Experience within financial services or other highly regulated environments will be highly regarded.
