Program Overview:

Designed for new graduates or those with little to no NDIS experience.
Multimodal learning throughout, with key modules developed by industry leading professionals.
Focus on the core components; assessment and report writing skills. clinical and NDIS knowledge as well as communication, managing difficult behaviours and time management.
Our mentoring program is extensive and flexible. We know that no two people learn the same, and so we tailor our approach to you!
You will be a part of a smaller intake, which means we can spend individualised and personalised time increasing your knowledge and expertise, empowering you to grow into a confident and thriving therapist.

This Position Involves:

Managing a caseload of participants and designing therapy programs to work towards achieving participant outcomes specific to the their circumstances.
Assessing participants functional capacity including physical and psychological abilities through clinical assessments.
Providing best practice evidence-based support services that increase participants life skills and independence.
Conducting assessments and providing recommendations to successfully adapt environments for participants including assistive technology.

About you:

Occupational Therapist (with eligibility for full AHPRA registration);
Current NDIS Worker Screening Check, Working with Children Check & Police Clearance (or willingness to obtain);
Current driver licence and vehicle (vehicle use reimbursement is provided);
Exceptional time management and verbal & written communication skills;
Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking and problem solving;
Honesty, integrity, a good team attitude and positive approach; and
Genuine commitment to continuous improvement.
