Pharmacy NSW - Other Part Time Slade Pharmacy

Key Points

Employment type: Permanent, part-time (20 hours a week).
Shift information: Monday to Friday, 5x 4-hour shifts. Flexible shift times.
Location: Slade Pharmacy Hunter Valley, located within Hunter Valley Private Hospital.

What You’ll Do
Hospital pharmacy is a dynamic and rewarding environment where teamwork, accuracy, and patient care are at the centre of everything we do. As a Pharmacy Technician, you’ll work alongside Pharmacists, Nurses, and other healthcare professionals to help maintain smooth pharmacy operations that support multidisciplinary care.

Key responsibilities:

Dispense and supply medication for hospital patients and outpatients.
Deliver medications to hospital wards and assist with medication rounds.
Assist with managing ward imprest and stock management activities.
Support patients, hospital staff and associated employees.
Pharmacy claims and general administration duties.

Shift information:

Fixed daily 4-hour shifts from Monday to Friday.
Offer flexibility with shift times.

What You’ll Bring
While hospital pharmacy experience is highly regarded, it’s not essential. Full training will be provided to support your transition into hospital pharmacy.

Eligibility requirements:

Australian working rights with a minimum of 12 months' validity.
Minimum 1 years’ experience in a pharmacy dispensary.

Desirable skills & experience:

Experience in hospital pharmacy.
Certificate III or IV in Pharmacy or equivalent.
