As an ASX 100 and perennial high performing company, Mineral Resources Limited (MinRes) is an Australian based leader in the performance and delivery of diversified mining services and minerals processing, underpinned by a growing world-class portfolio of mining operations across multiple commodities including iron ore and lithium.

About the role

In the Medic role you will be supporting the Safety Manager on the delivery of an Iron Ore project in the Pilbara region of WA working an 8/6 roster from Perth.

Key Responsibilities

Respond and coordinate all emergency situations onsite.
Delivery of emergency, fire and first aid training on site.
Carry out all activities in compliance with statutory requirements and relevant legislation.
Manage and maintain onsite stock, emergency vehicles, devices and equipment.
Provide medical care to employees.
Promote and support site Health and Safety initiatives.

About you

Have a minimum of 5+ years’ experience in a similar role in the mining resource industry.
Possess a Tertiary qualification as a Paramadic or Nurse.
Hold a Certificate III Mines Emergency Response and Rescue.
Have a Certificate IV in Pre-Hospital Care.
Prior experience as an ERT Member or proven experience coordinating ERT activities and training.
Demonstrate initiative and creative problem-solving skills.
Have exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (MS Project, Excel and Word).
