Joiner – Full Time
RH Shop Fitting Pty Ltd is an established professional shopfitting company in NSW, specialising in commercial joinery, cabinetry, shop fitting, renovations and project management. We are committed to delivering high-quality workmanship and reliable service to our clients.
Due to continued business growth and an increasing project workload, we are seeking a skilled and motivated Joiner to join our team on a full-time permanent basis.
Key Responsibilities
• Study and interpret drawings, plans and specifications to determine materials, dimensions and installation requirements
• Select and prepare timber and other materials for joinery works
• Measure, cut, shape and prepare materials in accordance with project specifications
• Cut and prepare joints and assemble components for custom joinery, cabinetry, fixtures and fittings
• Assemble prepared components ready for installation
• Install completed joinery and shopfitting components on site, ensuring accurate alignment, dimensions and finishes
• Repair, adjust and modify existing joinery, fixtures and fittings as required
• Work closely with project managers, site teams and other trades to ensure projects are completed accurately and on schedule
• Maintain a safe, clean and organised working environment
Requirements
• Certificate III in Joinery or a relevant equivalent qualification
• At least one year of relevant work experience as a Joiner
• Commercial joinery and/or shopfitting experience is highly regarded
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, plans and specifications
• Practical experience using woodworking machinery, power tools and hand tools
• Strong measuring, cutting, assembly and installation skills
• Good attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship
• Sound understanding of workplace health and safety requirements
• Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a team
• Good time-management skills and ability to meet project deadlines
• Additional language skills are an advantage in our multicultural work environment
Employment Details
• Full-time permanent position
• Salary: $79,423 – $90,000 per annum, depending on skills and experience
