The opportunity
As a Senior Business Analyst based in NSW, you will serve as a strategic financial partner to the State and Site Leadership teams across our Distribution Centre network. You will be instrumental in generating deep operational analysis, delivering accurate financial forecasting, and identifying key cost-to-serve opportunities to optimize supply chain performance. By bridging complex data with actionable decision-making, you will help shape operational plans, drive continuous improvement, and ensure financial integrity across multi-site operations.
What you’ll do

Analyse and monitor site-level operational and financial results, recommending corrective actions to optimize productivity and track benefit delivery.

Partner with State and Site Leadership teams to provide financial performance insights, cost-to-serve analysis, and strategic operational recommendations.

Lead the end-to-end forecasting, budgeting, and financial planning processes across NSW cost centres in collaboration with National Finance.

Deliver weekly, monthly, and quarterly business reporting, establishing standardized frameworks and early-warning communications to highlight risks and opportunities

Drive network-wide process alignment and continuous improvement by partnering on continuous improvement projects and capital investment initiatives.

Coach operational leaders and site teams to enhance financial acumen, ensuring clear visibility into key cost drivers and performance metrics.
What you’ll bring

Proven Experience: Extensive background as a Financial or Commercial Analyst with a solid understanding of complex supply chain and logistics environments.

Technical Mastery: Advanced Excel and financial modeling capabilities, alongside hands-on experience with financial systems and visualization tools (e.g., SAP, TM1, Tableau, GCP).

Business Partnering & Influence: Superior interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to translate complex financial concepts into simple, actionable insights for diverse audiences.

Analytical Mindset: Exceptional problem-solving and conceptual analysis capabilities, with a track record of accurately managing variance analysis, volume modeling, and financial commitments.

Qualifications: A tertiary degree in Finance, Business, or a related discipline, ideally working towards or holding a professional qualification (CPA/CA equivalent).

Agile & Proactive Approach: A continuous improvement mindset with strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, multi-site environment.
