PRIMARY OBJECTIVE
Responsible for ensuring meter data provision and associated activities are processed and actioned in accordance with shareholder, regulatory and
customer expectations for the NT electricity and water markets, ensuring the integrity of meter and standing data is maintained in a timely manner
by addressing business and market system exceptions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The “WHAT” to be delivered
- Specialise in Meter Data Provision functions including data collection, validation, estimation and substitution for market settlement and retailer
and customer billing in line with relevant regulatory obligations adhering to KPI’s and Service Level Agreements.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for the Meter Data Provision team, actively contributing to knowledge sharing and building within the team to
ensure a high level of service provision to stakeholders, retailers and customers in meter reading, meter data provision activities and associated
tasks.
- Manage day to day operations to ensure meter data is accurately received, systems are working as they should, and data is collected and
disseminated in line with regulatory requirements.
- Provide high level guidance and advice on review of conducted investigations and analysis, and ensure systems are maintained and meter data
exceptions are managed.
- Ensure staff are trained and have detailed knowledge of PWC and market IT systems, procedures are documented and reviewed, while actively
supporting the manager in succession planning and fostering cross-skilling within the team to manage meter data functions and activities.
- Provide advice to senior management on the development and improvement of meter reading, and other services provided both by in house
and external contracted resources.
- Manage and promote a culture of excellence in customer service, ensuring timely and sensitive responses to customer complaints and inquiries.
- Participate in and provide accurate data for auditing, compliance, and diverse reporting purposes, including regulatory reporting.
