ABOUT THE BUSINESS
Muddy Duck is a busy mixed use venue in Coleambally, in the NSW Riverina. We are seeking an experienced, well-organised Office Manager to take responsibility for the administrative and office functions that keep the business running smoothly, including staff training coordination and the administration behind our bookings, functions and events.
ABOUT THE ROLE
The Office Manager is responsible for organising, coordinating and controlling the general operation, administrative and office functions of Muddy Duck, including customer liaison, administrative systems, staff administration and training, business records, office resources and compliance processes.
Key duties include:
- Organising and overseeing the day-to-day administrative and office functions of the business
- Coordinating staff administration including recruitment support, onboarding, employee records, timesheets, leave and rostering
- Coordinating and delivering staff training, induction and onboarding programs, and maintaining training records
- Coordinating administrative requirements for customer enquiries, group bookings, functions and events
- Developing, implementing and reviewing office procedures, administrative systems and workflows
- Setting administrative priorities, allocating duties and monitoring the quality and completion of administrative work
- Assisting management with personnel matters and maintaining accurate, confidential employee documentation
- Maintaining business records, filing systems, correspondence and electronic documentation
- Coordinating invoices, receipts, purchasing records and accounts documentation for bookkeepers and accountants
- Assisting with payroll administration and maintaining supporting payroll and timesheet records
- Coordinating office equipment, supplies, computer systems and administrative resources, including maintenance and repairs
- Liaising with management, employees, accountants, bookkeepers, suppliers, contractors and professional service providers
- Maintaining administrative systems supporting workplace health and safety, licences, insurance and other compliance requirements
- Monitoring compliance documentation and renewal requirements and bringing required actions to management's attention
- Preparing reports and administrative information to assist management with business planning and decision-making
- Identifying administrative and workflow issues and recommending or implementing improvements
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Diploma in Management, Administration, Hospitality Management or a related discipline, or equivalent qualification/experience
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in office administration, office management or a related administrative role
- Experience within hospitality, tourism, accommodation, property, customer service or another service-based business
- Strong organisational, communication and problem-solving skills
Pay: Up to $80,000.00 per year
