Bring your energy to Aggreko as Contracts Manager - Renewables based in Perth, Melbourne or Brisbane. You’ll be responsible for the commercial, contractual, and risk management aspects of renewable energy projects, including hybrid power systems, solar PV, Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), and wind generation.
This role ensures that all contracts are developed, negotiated, executed, and administered in alignment with organisational objectives, project delivery requirements, compliance obligations, and industry best practices.
The Contracts Manager plays a critical role in supporting successful project execution from early development through to construction and commissioning.

What you’ll do as Contracts Manager:
Lead the preparation, drafting, review, and negotiation of project contracts including EPC, subcontractor, supply agreements, O&M agreements, and service contracts.
Ensure contractual terms adequately protect the organisation’s commercial interests, risk position, and compliance requirements.
Support bid, RFP, and tendering processes by developing commercial frameworks, terms and conditions, and contractual risk assessments.
Oversee the administration of contracts throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring obligations, deliverables, milestones, and performance metrics are tracked and met.
Manage variations, claims, extensions of time, dispute resolution processes, and contract close‑out.
Maintain contract registers and ensure accurate documentation and version control.
Conduct commercial evaluations and risk assessments for renewable energy projects, identifying contractual exposures and mitigation strategies.
Work closely with project managers, engineering, legal, procurement, and finance teams to align contractual outcomes with project objectives.
Support financial modelling and business case development with commercial and contractual inputs.
Collaborate with suppliers, OEMs, contractors, and consultants to establish strong working relationships and ensure compliance with contract terms.
Provide commercial guidance and recommendations to Executives, Project Directors, and the broader project delivery teams.
You’ll be / have:
Previous experience ion a similar contracts or commercial management role related to hybrid power projects, solar, BESS, and/or wind project contracts.
Degree qualification in Law, Business, Commerce, Engineering, or related discipline.
Ideally a minimum 7–10 years’ experience in contract management, commercial management, or project procurement within the renewable energy sector
Bring a deep sector knowledge of Hybrid power systems, Solar PV projects, Battery Energy Storage Systems and Wind projects
Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
Experience managing EPC/EPCM, OEM supply, and service agreements
Excellent understanding of contractual risk, claims management, and commercial frameworks
Ensure technical requirements and performance standards are accurately reflected in commercial agreements
Familiarity with Australian energy market regulations, grid connection frameworks, and relevant standards wpi;d be very highly regarded
