About the role
Are you an organised and detail-focused Accounts Receivable professional who enjoys building relationships and delivering excellent customer service?
An exciting opportunity has become available for an Accounts Receivable Clerk to join the team at CMI Hino Melbourne, one of Victoria's leading Hino dealerships. This 12-month maternity leave contract offers the chance to work in a modern, collaborative environment where your contribution is genuinely valued.
Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, you will play a key role in managing customer accounts, supporting cash flow activities, and providing exceptional service to both internal and external stakeholders.
What you’ll be doing?
- Managing customer accounts in relation to accounts receivable
- Distributing invoices, statements and reminder notices
- Daily Banking / Receipts
- Credit Control including processing new credit applications and conducting trade references
- Assisting customers with invoice queries
- Systematic follow up on outstanding overdue debts
- Maintain accurate customer records following all correspondence
- Remittance allocation, data entry and maintenance of aged trial balance
- Reconciliation and Month End Reporting
- Reception relief

We are seeking someone who has
- 2-3 years' experience in a similar Accounts Receivable or Administration role
- Strong computer and Microsoft Office skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- The ability to work independently and follow established procedures
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- A professional and positive approach
