Key Responsibilities
Reporting to the National Operations & Services Manager, you'll play a key role in leading day-to-day operations while identifying opportunities to improve, strengthen team capability and deliver exceptional service to our customers.
- Drive a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with WHS, CoR, and food safety requirements.
- Lead, coach and develop site teams, fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork and continuous improvement.
- Drive operational performance through the achievement of key site KPIs, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing initiatives that deliver results
- Manage site budgets, labour planning, productivity, and operational costs to drive efficiency and achieve performance targets
- Support site maintenance, facilities management, and capital improvement projects to ensure a safe, efficient, and high-performing operation.
- Collaborate with supply chain, logistics, and production teams to ensure seamless end-to-end operations
- Partner with internal stakeholders including Trading, Sales, Quality and Finance to optimise operational performance and customer service.
Skills and Experiences:
About You
- 5+ years' senior Operations Management experience.
- Proven leadership experience with the ability to lead, coach and develop teams in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire high performance, implement improvements, and create a culture of accountability
- A continuous improvement mindset with a track record of improving operational performance.
- Strong understanding of operational performance, productivity, workforce planning, and cost management.
- Excellent communication, organisational and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build effective relationships and influence outcomes across all levels of the organisation.
- Experience working in FMCG, fresh produce, food manufacturing, logistics or a similar fast-paced environment is highly regarded.
