Why A-Levate
A-Levate Education is a growing Perth tutoring provider, teaching students from primary right through to ATAR. This October we open our new centre in East Victoria Park — purpose-fitted teaching rooms, a close team, and a Term 4 timetable filling now. We’re looking for registered teachers who want to help shape it from day one.
The Role
▪ Teach 1-on-1 and small-group classes (capped at 8 students) across Years 7–10.
▪ Subjects: Mathematics, Science and English — teach one or several, to your strengths.
▪ Consolidate the fundamentals, close gaps early, and set students up for the step into ATAR courses.
▪ Support OLNA readiness where students need it.
▪ Teach from structured programmes with resources provided; keep session notes and share progress with parents.
Hours & Pay
▪ Casual — truly flexible. Pick up sessions that fit around your week: weekday afternoons 4:00–8:00pm and weekend sessions between 8:00am and 7:00pm.
▪ Part-time — a guaranteed timetable. A regular weekly schedule with a minimum commitment of 10 hours per week.
▪ Pay that reflects the work. Hourly rates scale with the year level you teach and the size of your class — senior levels and fuller classes earn more — and weekend sessions attract loadings.
Our Team & Culture
We’re a close-knit team — directors who still teach every week, and educators who genuinely talk to each other. You’ll know everyone’s name by the end of your first week.
▪ Mentoring that means something. A structured induction, time observing experienced tutors before you fly solo, a buddy for your first month, and honest, regular feedback.
▪ Get in at the start. A brand-new centre, a growing student base, and real room to grow your hours and your role with us.
▪ Results-driven teaching. Structured programmes, quality teaching materials provided, and high expectations — families come to us for outcomes, and we deliver them together.
What You’ll Need
▪ Current registration with the Teacher Registration Board of Western Australia (TRBWA) — Full or Provisional.
▪ A valid WA Working with Children Check — sighted before your first session, no exceptions.
▪ Confident, current subject knowledge in at least one of Mathematics, Science or English at Years 7–10.
▪ Warmth and patience with students, and clear, professional communication with parents.
▪ Reliability — our families build their week around your sessions.
▪ The right to work in Australia.
Nice to have: Experience guiding subject selection into the ATAR pathway; OLNA preparation experience.
