Oasis is looking for hardworking and energetic Barbacks / Glassys to join our hospitality team aboard Brisbane’s iconic floating entertainment venue.
Operating on the Brisbane River, Oasis delivers some of the city’s most exciting events — from packed Friday Nights, Saturday sessions and Sunday cruises to major celebrations, international artists, private events and corporate functions.
As a Barback / Glassy, you’ll be a key part of keeping the operation moving. Working behind the scenes and across our three levels, you’ll support the bar team to ensure our venues remain stocked, organised and ready to deliver fast, seamless service throughout every cruise.
About the Role
You’ll be responsible for:
- Keeping bars stocked with glassware, ice, beverages and essential supplies.
- Collecting, cleaning and rotating glassware efficiently throughout service.
- Maintaining clean, organised and well-presented bar and service areas.
- Supporting bartenders during busy periods to keep service moving.
- Assisting with bar set-up, restocking and pack-down.
- Working quickly and proactively in a high-volume environment.
- Communicating with the wider team to anticipate what is needed before being asked.
- Contributing to a positive, energetic and team-focused workplace.

Previous experience in a busy bar, nightclub, events or hospitality environment is advantageous, but the right attitude and work ethic are just as important.
A current RSA and valid Australian working rights are required.
