Aircraft Surface Refinisher/Painter

The role of an Aircraft Painter will involve:
- Paint stripping preparation and painting of metallic and composite aircraft surfaces
- Application of corrosion prevention processes and materials
- Preparation and use of aircraft support equipment
- Identification and ordering of paint equipment and materials
- Maintenance of spray-painting equipment
- Amendment and maintenance of technical publications
- Stencilling and application of tapes and decals. Apply aircraft livery and schemes

If you are reliable, willing, and able to work with minimal supervision and have the required skills and experience we are keen to talk to you.
The successful application must have:
· At least 2 years’ experience in vehicle painting, aircraft painting preferred.
· Appropriate trade qualification in vehicle painting or aircraft or similar.
· Able to work under the highest level of quality control
· Have or able to apply for ASIC card
· Driver’s licence
· Strong work ethic
· Highly motivated
· Committed to quality and attention to detail
· Great team player
· Positive attitude is a must!
Applicants with a trade qualification and experience from other industries are encouraged to apply.
The successful applicant must be able to work and contribute to a highly motivated team and be flexible in the ability to work different shift patterns. A salary between the range of $65,000 to $85,000 will be offered, dependent on skills and experience.
