Your new role:
As a Clinical Nurse in the Emergency Department, you'll provide advanced clinical care and leadership for patients with complex needs. You'll work autonomously while supporting the wider nursing and multidisciplinary team, with opportunities to contribute across clinical practice, education, research, quality improvement and service management.
Key Responsibilities
Provide advanced assessment, planning and coordination of complex emergency care.
Lead and support nursing teams through clinical expertise, delegation and mentoring.
Drive quality improvement, risk management and evidence-based clinical practice.
Contribute to education, research, clinical facilitation and service development.
About you:
You're an experienced emergency nurse with strong clinical judgement, leadership capability and a commitment to delivering safe, person-centred care. You'll bring confidence working in complex environments and the ability to support others to achieve excellent patient outcomes.
Skills & Experience
Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse with relevant clinical experience.
Advanced adult and paediatric emergency nursing knowledge and capability.
Strong leadership, critical thinking, communication and problem-solving skills.
Postgraduate study in a relevant field or enrolment is highly desirable.

Logan Hospital is the major health centre for one of the fastest growing areas in Queensland. We offer a range of services, including medical, rehabilitation, maternity, surgical and paediatric care.
We offer our staff and students extensive support and training in most medical specialties. As a teaching hospital, we help train future health care professionals and participate in research through strong partnerships with Queensland's leading medical schools, universities, and TAFE Queensland.
