AWS Australia is looking for a reliable and motivated MR Truck Driver / Factory Hand to join our team at our Loganlea facility.
This is a full-time position, with all new team members employed on a permanent basis from day one. You'll be working a local daily delivery run, with factory duties as required, as part of a supportive and growing team.
Working Hours
Day Shift
- Monday to Thursday: 5:00am – 1:30pm
- Friday: 5:00am – 11:00am
Note: Overtime may be required on any given day, based on workload.
About the Role
This is a hands-on position that combines local truck deliveries with general factory duties. You'll be responsible for delivering aluminium extrusions & componentry to customers, along with the need to assist with both the loading and unloading at each destination and supporting the warehouse and production team when & as required.
To Be Successful, You Will Have:
- A current MR Manual Truck Licence (minimum requirement)
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- The ability to safely lift packaged aluminium bundles weighing up to 20kg
- A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team
- Reliability and punctuality
- A neat and professional appearance
- Proven track record with clean licence desirable
- Forklift licence would be considered an advantage but not a requirement
