Both Randwick and Westmead campuses commissioned new pharmacy department facilities within purpose-built buildings, positioning interns to train in contemporary, technology-enabled environments. Alongside top-of-scope clinical services, pharmacy operations include robotic dispensing, automation within patient care areas, and cleanroom facilities with capability for gene therapy production.
What you'll be doing
As Australia’s largest paediatric healthcare service, SCHN provides world-class care to sick children across NSW. This internship will immerse you in paediatric clinical pharmacy, hospital operations, and quality improvement/research, preparing you for a rewarding career in health.
What You’ll Experience:
- A structured Intern Training Program supported by a dedicated preceptor and a senior clinical educator
- Rotations for a breadth of clinical practice
- Intern tutorials and registration exam preparation
- Opportunities to engage in quality improvement and sustainability projects
- A chance to work on multidisciplinary teams in a child- and family-focused environment
About You:
- Completed (or completing) an accredited Pharmacy degree in 2026
- Eligible to enrol in an APC-accredited Intern Training Program
- Strong interest in paediatric care and eager to learn in a fast-paced hospital environment
