Assistant Project Officer
Assistant Project Officer - Business Operations
You'll help keep a busy and high-performing team running smoothly by delivering a range of business, financial and administrative support services that contribute to the successful delivery of strategic projects. From managing accounts payable transactions, expense claims and billing processes to supporting purchasing, vendor management, records management, travel coordination and reporting. You'll play a key role in ensuring operational activities are delivered efficiently, accurately and in line with agency requirements.
Your experience supporting business operations, and strong organisational skills are much needed as well as your confidence and ability to communicate with a range of stakeholders and building positive working relationships to deliver quality customer service and business outcomes.

Assistant Project Officer - Workforce Operations
In this role you'll provide critical workforce and business support services that help teams deliver important projects and priorities. Working across a broad range of workforce administration activities, you'll coordinate onboarding and offboarding employees, maintain accurate workforce records and documentation, support recruitment and people-related processes. You'll be a key point of contact for workforce enquiries and contribute to the continuous improvement of workforce systems and processes, ensuring services are delivered efficiently and in line with agency policies and procedures.
You will bring experience in workforce administration, with an ability to manage competing priorities, and ensure a customer-focused approach to build positive relationships across a diverse stakeholder group.
For both roles an understanding and knowledge of Government public administration processes, governance, protocols and reporting requirements is desirable.
