We're currently seeking an organised, customer-focused and proactive People & Culture Officer to join our collaborative team on a permanent basis.
This role offers the opportunity to be involved across the entire employee lifecycle, supporting recruitment, onboarding, learning and development, employee programs and key People & Culture initiatives. It is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working with people, and takes pride in delivering exceptional service and administration support.
About the Role
You'll play a key role in ensuring our people processes run smoothly while helping create a positive employee experience across the organisation.
You'll work closely with leaders, employees, candidates, training providers and external stakeholders to support recruitment activities, coordinate learning and development programs, manage onboarding processes and maintain the integrity of our People & Culture systems.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Deliver exceptional administrative support across the People & Culture function
- Maintain accurate employee records and data integrity across HRIS, LMS and related systems
- Coordinate employee and contractor onboarding and site induction processes
- Schedule and administer learning and development programs across the business
- Maintain and update learning materials and competency records within the Learning Management System
- Liaise with candidates, employees, registered training organisations and other stakeholders
- Support the coordination of apprenticeships, traineeships and work experience programs
- Prepare People & Culture reports and workforce data as required
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, projects and process enhancements
- Build positive working relationships across the organisation to deliver outstanding customer service outcomes.
About You
You'll be a highly organised professional with strong administrative capability and a genuine passion for supporting people.
To be successful, you'll bring:
- Experience in a People & Culture, HR, training or administration role
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong process discipline
- Experience working with HRIS, LMS, ERP or similar business systems
- Strong scheduling, coordination and planning skills
- Advanced Microsoft Office capability
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
- Strong data entry and record management skills with a focus on accuracy
- A customer-focused approach and commitment to service excellence
- Experience supporting recruitment, onboarding and learning & development activities
Highly regarded:
- Certificate III in Business or Business Administration
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE)
- Knowledge of Vocational Education and Training (VET) principles and practices.
