We’re looking for a casual Optical Dispenser to join our team over the Christmas and summer period.
Whether you’re an experienced dispenser looking for some extra hours or you’re coming from a strong retail/customer service background and looking to learn optical, we’re keen to hear from you.
What you’ll be doing
- Helping customers find frames and eyewear that suit their needs
- Discussing prescriptions and lens options
- Taking accurate PDs, heights and measurements
- Processing and checking optical orders
- Fitting, adjusting and repairing glasses
- Assisting with different dispensing requirements
- Working with optometrists and the wider team
- Providing a friendly and positive customer experience
What we’re looking for

- Accurate and attentive to detail
- Organised and able to manage their time
- Comfortable working independently
- Practical and happy to work through problems
- Available for casual shifts over Christmas and summer
No optical experience? No problem. If you have great customer service skills, a positive attitude and are keen to learn, we’d love to hear from you.
