Lumen Christi is a Catholic primary school which endeavours to work with families to educate children in a Christian atmosphere of love, trust and responsibility. We endeavour to inspire by our name, create a welcoming environment which prizes the dignity of the individual, nurture within the Catholic tradition each individual's spiritual journey, foster enjoyment of learning, nourish self expression, embrace our whole community and focus on justice and citizenship. We view education as a partnership between school and home, and therefore strongly encourage parent participation. Since opening in 1990, Lumen Christi today has a total enrolment of over 330 children, with modern air conditioned classrooms and interactive whiteboards, a purpose built junior learning centre, a fully equipped technology centre, a library, a dedicated art room and beautiful grounds.
