We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Junior Systems Administrator to join our Digital - ICT Operations team in our Melbourne office.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Involvement within projects to assist with technical deliverables.
- Assistance with:
- Vendor management.
- Regular disaster recovery tests.
- Safeguarding security with administration of email protection, web filtering, data loss prevention, and endpoint protection gateways and platforms.
- Maintaining enterprise directory services, multifactor authentication, and access to critical IT services in the cloud and on-premises.
- Technical troubleshooting and resolution of support tickets escalated from Helpdesk.
- On-premises infrastructure and cloud support, monitoring, support, installations, upgrades, testing, and documentation, and backups.
- Maintain a cyber security first approach and mindset. Cultivate an awareness of security risks, stay informed of latest cyber threats, instil best cyber security practises and take practical steps to protect the firm and client from cyberattacks.

Experience
- 1- 3 years' experience in IT Support, Service Desk, Desktop Support or similar roles.
- Experience within a client centred organisation.

- Exposure to:
- Microsoft 365 administration
- Active Directory and Entra ID.
- Microsoft Windows server and features.
- Networking such as IP addressing, DNS, DHCP, and wireless.
- ITSM framework.
- Documentation, troubleshooting, and process improvements.
- Desirable:
- Backup technologies and methodologies such as Veeam.
- Microsoft Intune and Autopilot.
- Microsoft Azure
- Palo Alto and Aruba networking technologies.
- VMWare
- Citrix
- Essential 8, ISO 27001.
- Scripting with PowerShell and Terraform.
- Linux fundamentals.
